Normally it's not a good sign when a German steps on stage. It either ends in world domination or in a Euro-pop performance. Both cases have scared off generations and created a very well known stereotype: Germans are not funny - at least not on purpose.   
Christian decided very early to change that stereotype.
Having done his first English speaking performance in 2002 in Belgium, he has very soon expanded his comedy territory: England, Scotland, Hungary, Canada, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Argentina, Austria - and even Germany! -
have been part of his world (domination) tour already.

Christian has won several awards, including the "King Gong" Competition at London's famous The Comedy Store in October 2009.

Christian's first solo show ("Stop Laughing, I am German") got excellent reviews and sell-out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2009. 
His second solo show ("I am German, I should not be here!") at the Edinburgh Fringe 2010 was another sell-out hit, in an even bigger venue. He also sold out at the Glasgow Comedy Festival.

Christian, being the German comedian, obviously starts it every night.

Wenn ein Deutscher im Ausland auf die Bühne tritt, bedeutet das erfahrungsgemäß nichts Gutes. Was normalerweise folgt ist entweder eine versuchte Weltherrschaft oder eine scootereske Musik-Aufführung ("Hyper Hyper!"). So wurden schon manche Menschen im Ausland verängstigt - und nicht ganz überraschend sind Vorurteile entstanden. Zum Beispiel: Deutsche sind nicht lustig! Naja, zumindest nicht absichtlich.

Christian hat sich sehr früh dazu entschieden, dieses Vorurteil zu widerlegen. Nach seinem ersten Auftritt (auf Englisch) im Jahre 2002 in Belgien hat er nach und nach sein Territorium erweitert: England, Schottland, Ungarn, Kanada, die Tschechische Republik, die Slowakei, Argentinen, Österreich - und sogar Deutschland! - gehörten daher bisher schon zu Christians globaler Comedy-Tour. Die Reise geht weiter...

Christian tritt mit seinen zwei Soloprogrammen ("Stop Laughing, I am German" und "I am German, I should not be here!") regelmäßig auf Festivals (u.a.: ausverkauft beim Glasgow Comedy Festival) auf.
Im August präsentiert er jeweils sein neues Programm 20 Tage am Stück beim Edinburgh-Festival.

Er moderiert außerdem, tritt in Comedy-Clubs auf und ist regelmäßig in den großen und etablierten Clubs Londons zu sehen.
